01
What we collect
We collect the information you give us when you sign up: your email, your name, the workspace name you choose, and any team members you invite. We collect the test definitions, prompts, screenshots, and run artifacts you create when you use the product.
We collect basic analytics about how you use the product: which pages you visit, which features you click on, which runs succeed or fail. This is so we know what's working and what isn't.
02
Why we collect it
We collect it to operate Traceback for you. Authentication, billing, hosting your runs, sending notifications when something breaks, and improving the product over time. That's it.
We don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers. We don't train public models on it.
03
How AI fits in
Some of what Traceback does runs through third-party AI providers. When the agent reads your screen, generates a test, or rewrites your idea, the relevant input goes to that provider so it can return a response. We pick providers with strong privacy commitments and do not allow them to train on your data.
Inputs and outputs are retained only as long as needed to deliver the result and improve reliability, except where retention is required by law or by a separate agreement with you.
04
Who we share with
We share data only with service providers who help us run Traceback: hosting, payment processing, transactional email, error monitoring, AI inference. Each is bound by a contract that limits what they can do with your data.
We will share data if compelled by law. If that happens we will tell you, unless we are legally prohibited from doing so.
05
Your rights
You can export your data from your workspace settings at any time. You can delete your account and all associated data from the same place. We will confirm deletion within thirty days.
If you're in a jurisdiction with additional privacy rights (GDPR, CCPA, or similar) those rights apply. Email us and we'll honor them.
06
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies. One keeps you signed in. One remembers your theme and a few preferences. A few help us measure how the product is used in aggregate.
We don't use third-party advertising cookies. You can turn off non-essential cookies in your browser without breaking the product.
07
Children
Traceback isn't for kids. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has signed up, email us and we'll delete the account.
08
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced in the product or by email at least thirty days before they take effect. Continued use after a change means you accept the new policy.
